Helping hands
I have a growing passion for the communities within my home country- Malawi. I understand that as human beings, we are not isolated entities but part of a vast and interconnected world. Each one of us has the power to bring a ray of sunshine to those around us, regardless of the scale or degree of our actions and contributions. I believe that everyone can choose to be a little philanthropist and make a positive impact in their community.
Here is a little snippet of the little big things I have been a part of
Over the years, I have facilitated workshops in local Private schools in Malawi. By sharing our knowledge and skills, we gain more as educators.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I actively participated in an initiative to make masks, ultimately distributing 1,500 COVID packs to those in need. This is a project I am proud! We has support from people all over the world from the USA to the Isle of Wight - UK kind hearted people made donations to support the cause.
Recently, Cyclone Freddie struck. I received a message about a single mother whose house had been damaged by the heavy rains. My family and I rallied together to rebuild the section of the house that had fallen.

I like to get my Son Oluchi involved in as much community service as I can. We joined forces with the 2021 Goldmine winner, Gloria Majija, in the Blantyre City cleaning initiative, working towards creating a cleaner and more sustainable environment for all.

I continue to seek new opportunities to foster connections between the UAE and Malawi. By bridging these two regions, the aim is to exchange knowledge, culture, and resources, ultimately enriching the educational experiences of both our students and the wider community. Watch this space (2021)
